Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret is sweet but careful, and somehow the parents are the most interesting part. Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret is an adaptation of the Judy Blume classic about 11-year-old Margaret Simon, who contends with puberty, religious exploration, and a move from Manhattan to New Jersey. But, watching the movie, I found myself focusing more on Margaret’s parents.
